Ingredients

cherries
pitted and halved

tablespoon
granulated sugar

tablespoon
lemon juice

cup
water

teaspoon
corn starch
Instructions
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, heat up cherries, sugar and lemon juice, about 5 minutes.
In the meantime, mix cornstarch with water in a small bowl and set aside.
As soon as cherry mixture starts to bubble, add the water and cornstarch mixture. Mix until thickened (approximately another 5 minutes).
Remove from heat and cool completely.
